I was so angry and upset with him yesterday that I decided I won't talk to him for a week and show him that I don't care even if he doesn't talk :D

You'll build that understanding with that person gradually that you won't need an outsider’s advice, gossiping little inconveniences of your relationship with a friend/BFF, influencer’s egoistic advice(tit for tat).
